Nicole Mier Tabor

Nicole Mier Tabor joined JWA as an intern and left to pursue her calling in counseling and social work with Bethany Christian Services in Alpharetta, Georgia, where she is now employed. She grew up in Ellenwood, Georgia, which provided her with an immediate awareness of and relationship with JWA clients in south metro Atlanta.
Nicole was a former student of JWA President Chris Wood at The Grady College of Journalism and Mass Communication at the University of Georgia, where she obtained her bachelor’s degree in public relations in 2004. She now is in pursuit of a master’s degree in social work from UGA as well.
“Since Nicole was a former student of mine at Georgia, I’ve had the pleasure of watching her professional growth from its infancy,” says Wood. “I could see great potential and character in her early on, even in the classroom. Needless to say, I’m very proud of her as a student and as a professional.”
