Each year, water utilities in the state of Georgia are required to distribute a water quality report, or consumer confidence report, to their customers, in order to inform them of what is in their drinking water and why. This Water Quality Report, then, serves as both a means for compliance with federal and state water quality regulations, as well as an avenue for educating the public about the facilities and operations of their local water utility.
