MWA Currents

The Macon Water Authority (MWA) serves more than 50,000 water/sewer customers in Macon and Bibb County. In order to keep them informed of policies and procedures, capital projects, industry events, opportunities for public involvement, and more, the MWA circulates its Currents newsletter by inserting it in customer bills every other month. Results from scientific surveys reveal that the MWA newsletter is read by more than 70% of customers on a regular basis, which was greater than the respondents’ reported consumption of mass media.
