What We Do

JWA provides both management and technical services to a wide array of clients. For some, we serve as a program manager, overseeing all strategic elements of a comprehensive, annual communications plan. For others, we are called to address specific projects to meet a closely defined communications objective. In either case, JWA applies more than 100 years of combined experience in communications practice.

JWA is an Integrated Marketing Communications (IMC) firm, with an emphasis in planning and implementing strategic communication campaigns for a variety of private and public organizations, including local governments and public utilities.

What is IMC? IMC identifies organizational goals and objectives, while utilizing communication tools to accomplish these objectives. Rather than producing communications and determining ideas of how to utilize them, IMC is driven by ideas and coordinates communications around those ideas. Integrated marketing communications (IMC) includes traditional public relations, advertising, marketing communications, direct/interpersonal communication, special events, and new media. IMC campaigns are strategic and derived to achieve specific goals and objectives.

JWA staff members are professionals experienced in carrying out specific requests for communications from clients, in addition to researching, writing and implementing strategic communication campaigns.
